Description
Five years after the launch of the original Spider chair, the DUX Design Team took the concept to a whole new level with the 1987 launch of the Superspider. In 1989, it was recognised with the Superior Design award at the Cologne Furniture Fair, solidifying the Superspider’s status as an iconic piece of contemporary furniture craftsmanship.
This unique lie-down easy chair uses the same base design as the other Spiders, but with a reclined design and stuffed cushions that support the full length of your body. It’s an eye-catching living room piece, ideal for those who like to settle in with a good book, enjoy a long movie night, or are just looking to create a space in the home for contemplative rest and relaxation.
Thanks to the matching frame and upholstery possibilities, the Superspider can pair well with a standard Spider easy chair. Or, why not design your room around two Superspiders to share the comfort with the ones you love?
